    Nachdem ich mit den letzten Bänden etwas Mühe hatte, findet die Autorin hier zur alten Form zurück, wenn das Ende dann ev etwas banal ist. Die Geschichte ist spannend, gut lesbar und genügend vertrackt. Daisy wird diesmal von einer alten Schulfreundin kontaktiert, welche befürchtet, dass im Hause ihres Arbeitgebers etwas nicht so ist, wie es sein sollte. Das bewahrheitet sich leider nur allzu bald und schon wir Daisy's Spürnase wieder gefordert. Ein charmanter Band einer doch charmanten Reihe.

    Set in the US in the "not so roaring twenties"... historically true, yet charmingly romantic and thrilling at the same time =)
