The Lost City: The Realms Book Two (An Epic LitRPG Adventure) (English Edition) Reviews
Not as good as 1 and 1.5 but better than the rest of the chaff out there. I recommend this to any litrpg fans, especially to people who like Aleron Kong's work, very similar, I wonder where Carney got his inspiration from.
This story really took me for a ride. I wasn’t entirely sure where it was going for a time, but when I figured it out I enjoyed it all the more.Good sequel, and maintains a lot of the action heavy narratives the first and second book have. Additionally, this book fleshes out the world a bit more and gives us tastes of where the story will continue. Will read the next book!
A great continuation of the Gryph story (though I loved Killing Time more). I really only had a few issues: the first half of the book was very predictable, and there is a consistent lack of punctuation. Almost every page had a missing comma, hyphen, quote, or italics. The first two books had the same issue, so it’s nothing new. But it is distracting.I look forward to book 4, which I dearly hope involves Lex.
Definitely not anything like what I pictured happening after the first book. Got to learn more about the history of the game world and it got a little more in depth in the game mechanics. Overall, definitely worth a read
fast action story, i loved the visualizations and the snark :)
It's rare that the second book in a series stands up to the first, but this one did! The action and humor makes for a great read and the rpg stats are super thorough. Can't wait for another one!
